Full Japan Trip Itinerary
(Proposal by Global Travel Agency)

Hello everyone.. The agency just came down to NJ on the 21st to give everyone a talk on the proposed itinerary. There are many places of interests they proposed, so all the places we are visiting will be in blue along with a picture, description and an URL link for you to find out more information(Just click on the names of the place of interest in yellow, it will bring u to the webpage)

4th June - Sunday

-Set off at midnight, taking All Nippon Airways(ANA) for a 6 hour flight to Japan, Narita Airport.

5th June - Monday

-Reach Narita Airport on Monday morning. (Hopefully slept well during the flight as the day's activities are going to begin right from the start of the day, not wasting any time)
- Meet English speaking Japanese tour guide to begin on city tour
- Imperial Palace ~ Traditional castle of the Imperial family, surrounded by moats and beautiful greenery and bridges

- Meiji Jingu Shrine ~ Shrine of the late Emperor Meiji, this is the chance to see how a shrine looks like after hearing all about Japanese shrines from tv.

- Takeshita- Dori ~ This is a famous shopping district in Japan, you can find famous malls like Daiso and Snoopy town. Take a look at Japanese shopping districts, they are more exciting and interesting than Singapore's orchard road!

- Lunch at Local Restaurant/ Continue tour after Lunch
-Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office Observatory ~ This is the tallest building in Tokyo, we will be going up to the observatory and getting a bird's eye view of the Tokyo skyline... i like...

- Asakusa Nakamise Street ~ This is another shopping district closer to that of a ye4 shi4. take a look at the more traditional Japanese shopping districts and also try some japanese delicacies.

- Return to hotel/free time

6th June - Tuesday

- Breakfast at hotel
- Depart full day for Hakone & Mt. Fuji Tour
- Fuji Visitor Centre ~ they will bring us to the 5th level of Mt Fuji(if weather is fine), im sure we have all seen nice mountain sceneries on tv, esp those in Japan. this is the chance to experience it first hand.

- Lunch at local restaurant
- Lake Ashi Cruise ~ because mt fuji is so huge, we will not be able to see the whole of it, thats why we are gonna take a cruise that will circle around fuji.

- Komogatake Ropeway ~ After going on sea, we will go into the air by taking cable car that runs across the mountains. im sure the view will be breathtaking...

- Dinner at local restaurant
- Return to Hotel/free time

7th June - Wednesday

- Breakfast at hotel
- Rehearsal at Soka High School in the morning
- **Luggage truck(2 ton) from hotel to school
- Depart school to restaurant for lunch
- After lunch, transfer to educational tour
- Tachikawa Bosai Kan ~ This is a technological Centre of Tokyo similiar to our Science Centre but their exhitbits are more for adults than students. So you will see many of Japan's latest technology, many that you'll only hear about much later in Singapore.

- Return to hotel/Dinner/Free

8th June Thursday

- Breakfast at hotel
- Transfer to Soka High School ~ Short Tour of School/ Class Observations with Students (personally i feel Japanese schools look nicer & has better sceneries than Singapore schools)

- Lunch with Soka High School Students (time to know some Japanese Hunks and Babes!)
- Rehearsal
- Exchange Program
- 60 min performance by NJCO
- 20 min performance by Soka High School Koto Club & Brass Band
- Dialogue with students in small groups
- Dinner at local restaurant
- Return to Hotel/ Free

9th June - Friday

- Breakfast at hotel
- Transfer to Min-On Association ~ this is something like our NAC, it coordinates many overseas performing groups going to Japan. and the interior looks v nice too...

- Transfer to Soka University in the afternoon ~ As part of the exchange, we will be visiting Soka U but it wont be long and they have more of a uni feel than nus or ntu(i would say)
- Fuji Art Museum ~ Though not everyone might be into Arty stuff, this museum has many forms artworks, not bad to take a look...

- Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architectural Museum ~ This is an open air compound where they rebuild all of Japanese traditional houses, structures like a mini world, just that they are all life-size!

- Dinner at local restaurant
- Return to Hotel/Free

10th June -Saturday DISNEY DAY!

- Breakfast at hotel
- Depart for FULL DAY tour of Disneyland
- *One Day Pass ~ which means free for many of the rides.. but i heard there will be just a few where u might have to pay.. but disneyland is so big, you probably wont even have time to finish the free rides.
- Guide will not follow
- Lunch & Dinner settle on own account
***Tokyo DisneyLand is so huge that you probably have to run and skip meals to finish all rides because of waiting times etc, so be abit more kaisu, check up on the rides first, so u will know which to go attack before everyone goes to it. Also, Disney land has a parade every evening, do not miss that and enjoy the night with all the castles lit up with bright and colourful lights.. and save ur film and batt for the fireworks right in the night!!

- Return to Hotel after a tiring day

11th June Sunday

- Breakfast at hotel
- Free and easy (potentially shopping time)
- Transport luggage to Narita Airport

- Flight at 1620hrs

*Price only valid if we can get minimum of 70 for the trip. NJCO will have about 50, instructors and teachers add up to about 10 and alumni about 10, can plus or minus..
**Taxes can go up depending on the air industry, posibly an increament of $5 to $10.
***Prices can fluctuate up or down abit depending on the itenerary, which is to be confirmed again.

Subsidies for the trip (ALUMNI)

- Everyone from the students, teachers, instructors and alumni
- Ill not be talking about the subsidies the others are getting, will just talk about alumni's share.
- We have a sponsorship of $8000 from Lee & Hong Leong Foundation, $6000 to the students and $2000 shared between alumni and instructors
- On top of that, those who take part in the local Aurora concerts will be able to share the proceeds from ticket sales that will amount to about $100 for each person
- Finally, another channel for getting subsidies will be through fundraising which NJCO is doing during college day. They are aiming to raise $3000 for NJCO themselves, any surplus will then come to alumni or instructors etc.
- However, we feel that even if there will be surplus, alumni will not really deserve it if we do not help out in some way or another. i will be posting more details of what they are doing and possibly alumni's own fundraising. so hope everyone, whether going japan or not can lend a hand in this.. thanks!

So, i know many have expressed your interests before but are unable to confirm because you wanna wait for the itenerary and price to be announce.. so here they are, although they are still gonna finalise it, but there shouldnt be too much deviation from this.

So far, only a few people like Chin Gi, Sir Liang, Ming Hui can be more or less confirmed. Alumni AGM 2006 成功！

Thank You Everyone For Supporting NJCOAA!

21st January, Saturday. 12 to 4pm... Our long awaited NJCOAA annual general meeting..

The started off with a very shocking realisation that the club room wasn't booked. For those who came late, you didnt see our faces when we opened the club room door and saw kids running around in party hats, with happy birthday signs hung over the ceiling. Fortunately, Jesseln was able to provide us her house for the Agm. (Thanks alot jesseln, doesnt matter abt the booking thing)

It was a hectic day for the exco, having to prepare the food, the concert discs, games, videos etc etc. And not to say, poor Si qi unfortunately took the wrong direction with our whole bunch of fresh alumni members. Thou it was a little bit late, but it was heart warming to see so many fresh members come for our Agm. Thanks alot for taking time off your daily life to join us today.

After settling all the admin stuff, (alumni fees are really v nominal le la hor?) we need them to carry out our yearly projects and activites. Then after some mixing around and complaints of 'im hungry, can order pizza?', we(exco) gave in and called for pizza delivery. haha.. before the pizzas arrive, we started a game of.. hmm what should i call it. "Hurt you in my heart, i cant open my mouth" Direct translation of the jacky wu game show called "害你在心口难开". Basically, everyone has a card on its forehead where there will be an action or some words she cannot say. Everyone else will try to hai4 that person to say or do the thing on her forehead. once 'kenna' the horn will sound! "Ponnnnnn" and the hammer comes knocking on the head. Although at some pts, it is a little bit len2 chang3 but i think we had quite some fun. It's the first time we tried this, not that perfect yet. So maybe we should play again next time? haha.. (Should we?)

Anyway, after like half an hour of that game.. we finally opened the pizza boxes! Not that cold la hor... While we munch on our pizzas, we tuned in to another Jacky Wu show.. haha.. v hard to describe. but got Ru2 Hua1 that kind and the show is about they all playing tricks on Celebs. Show everyone more next time! After filling our stomachs(not that filling la actually), We started our AGM agenda. We had Mr Tek updating us about the Japan Trip and Cai Ling giving a report on the past yr's alumni activities.

Next it was time for Elections. Our Boss(now ex-boss) gave us a general idea of the different posts and editorial & Media Team. Then voting began..... And while we tabulate the votes, boss had sth special for everyone. No one knows about this at all and this came as a total surprise. It was the Sentosa Chalet Video!! For those who came to the chalet but didnt get to watch it, we'll try to let u take a look next time k? It's pretty funny... (haha of cuz done by boss and his media team now) Many of us really malu ourselves in the video. very very pai seh.....

Just as we tot that's the end of the surprises, boss came out with a bag of gifts.. one for each of his hardworking exco member and of cuz the most special saved for our beloved deputy, Cai Ling! haha.. (hope you all like it! - from boss)

I haven't been able to thank Xiuwen personally(i've always been suaning her), im really v thankful for your contributions no matter whether u were able to come 4 meeting or not so hope that u wont feel bad abt it or anything. And im sorry that we are unable to hold our agm on the 14th. Thanks again for your past 2 yrs of hard work.

And to the new incoming batch of exco.. It really doesnt matter what experiences or lack of experiences we had in the past. Many of us started from scratch when we got into exco. But rest assured that it will be fun and we will be there to guide everyone along. We respect everyone's decision esp when they have violent objections. That's why consent was seeked after the results were announced, Lynette & YanZhen has expressed violent objections, so we have made adjustments by taking the person with the next highest votes.

By now, it was almost 4.30pm already. sorry for overshooting cuz things started late. Anyway, thanks all for coming and we sincerely hope you all have enjoyed yourselves. So do join us in our activities in the future cuz with our new batch of Exco, im sure our activities will be really fun. See Ya !!!

As most of you would have read from the entry below abt the Japan Trip, we need to know how many of you are interested to be part of this trip. So we hope that you can take this week to ponder over, ask your parents, check your schedules etc. Once again, expressing interest now doesnt mean definite commitment as the names will be confirmed again in March.

**Elections for Alumni Exco 2006

A new year, a new Exco. Contrary to what people feel about any Executive Committee, Alumni Exco isn't one of those stressful or politically problematic kind of committee. As we all know, the reason for joining the Alumni is purely based on your interest to remain connected with the whole njco family. And the Exco is only just a committee to help plan activities once in awhile to maintain these connections among old and new members. And we run the Alumni basically with the passion for the Association and also for the willingness to learn more in organisation. Well, the main tasks every year would usually be the involvement with NJCO, whether it be SYF or concerts and this year, it would be the Japan trip. However, we do not just let the Exco do everything because the Alumni is a group of closely connected friends(whether friends from school days or newly made in Alumni) and more often than not, everyone will help out with each other.

Following are write ups on each posts in the Alumni Exco. This write up is specially done to give everyone an idea of what each posts roughly does. Everyone has been invited to be part of the election process, voted by every member present for the AGM. Do not worry if you have never been in a committee before. Half of Exco 2005 hasnt been in any committee before. Just give it a try. You'll definitely get many rewards from this experience.

@Director - currently held by Ming Hui

Obviously, the Director holds the highest post in the whole committee but in the Alumni Exco, everyone treats each other the same. However, there are a few major things the Director has to take charge during the course of the year which are very important to the Alumni.
Firstly, he/she has to set the general workplan for the whole year and oversee the different activities. Secondly, the Director is the communication link between the alumni and the current NJCO, working closely with the committee and teachers of NJCO. & on a personal note, we defnitely hope that the Director would be able to put in abit more committment into the Alumni :)

*This position will only be open for Alumni who have graduated at least 1 yr from NJCO. Reason being we feel that the Director has to liason with both seniors and juniors, so it would be easier for him/her to carry out the duties if he/she has been around Alumni for awhile.

@Deputy Director - currently held by Cai Ling

The Deputy's role is generally an assisting role to Director however the Director usually consults the deputy on most decisions. Tasks are shared around between both whenever anyone is too busy with other matters.

*Preferably this position can be taken up by a fresh grad so as to have a good mix of 'old' and new in the top management.

@Honorary Secretary - currently held by Xiu Wen aka. Jessica aka. Phoenix

Our secretary for 2 years running has set the standard for this post with her meticulous recording of minutes for every meeting. Recording and giving out of minutes to every Exco member after every meeting is essential to keep everyone updated on what they have to do. The secretary also keeps records of members registered under Alumni.

@Treasurer - currently held by Joyce

Our treasurer maintains the collection of Alumni membership fees every year and keeps track of financial accounts. As Alumni begins to widen its scope with production of newsletters and concert filming, there is a greater need for accounts keeping. Furthermore, with Japan trip coming up, our treasurer will be more involved.

@Batch Liason 2002/2003/2004 - currently held by SiQi, Jasmine, Yan Zhen

We will have one batch Laison for every graduating batch. The job scope is mainly to maintain contacts among the members of the same year and to inform them of any events coming up. This year we will add another member to the Exco with the post of Batch Liason for 2005.

These are the general job scopes of each posts but if you would ask any exco member, they would tell you that everyone helps each other with anything la.

@Aurora 7 Stage Managers - done by Serene & Soo Chin last year

NJCO has requested for Alumni to help with providing Stage Managers for Aurora 7. Both Local and Overseas concert. As you would know, it is almost impossible for them to perform and run the show at the same time. So hopefully 1 or preferably 2 alumni members who feel that you can lend a hand in this area can let us know.

*This is a no voting post, anyone who feel that you have the time and committement and interest for it may voice out.

@Editorial & Media Team - Current Chief Editor - Joan

Editorial - Firstly we need to find a new cheif editor as Joan has expressed intentions to step down as Chief Editor due to other committments. Our annual newsletter is usually headed by our chief editor, planning the articles to write and layout of the newsletter etc. But other than the cheif editor, which will be fixed, anyone else can join in the editorial team to help with the production of the newsletter. (Believe me, you will learn quite abit about publication producing)

Media - Alumni is setting up its own Media Team, primarily for filming the concerts. Specially for this year, as NJCO is going to Japan, if nobody films down the concert, no one will be able to watch and recollect the Japan performance once its over. Furthermore, there are plans to film a documentary of the full Japan trip.
So far, Ming Hui is the person heading this team but unlike Editorial, the media team needs to have a 'permanent' group of pple so as to co-ordinate the productions. 'Permanent' meaning, letting Ming Hui know that you wanna be part of the Media Team and also be able to take part in the filming of the concerts. (If you want to learn how to do filming, video editing, video production, or any media related stuff, come join in, it will be fun)

Take a bus or travel by MRT to woodlands interchange. At the interchange, look for bus 912/912E. This is the feeder bus that will bring you to woodgrove. BUT BEWARE, there are 2 sides to take this bus at the interchange. Take the directions heading towards woodlands Ave 5 (woodlands civic center) you will reach the right bus stop to alight after 4 stops after leaving the interchange.

Important News On NJCO Japan Trip !!!

Hello everyone. We have just recieved news from NJCO regarding the Japan trip which i believe everyone will be interested in. However, other than letting everyone in on what's happening, we are also seeking responses from those who are interested in this trip. Details as follows

Overview:
After Genting 2004, NJCO will be flying to Japan this year for its annual concert performance. However, it will also be staging a local concert in May at LT5(renovated into an LT suitable for performances) before flying to Japan for the main show in June.

We are inviting all interested Alumni to take part in this year's events in any way you might want or able to. Following are details of the Trip.

Sponsorship(so far):
NJCO has just recieved a sponsorship deal from Japan Airlines(JAL), pledging $200 off each air ticket, meaning instead of $800 per ticket, it is now $600(exclusive of taxes), total costs hopefully within1600(this amt is not confirm but just to give a rough estimate) Furthermore, they have now kindly extended this sponsorship to Alumni Members too.

Date of Trip:
5th to 10th June (six days)

Venue:
Soka High School, Tokyo

Itinerary:

Half Day Rehearsal At Soka High School
1 Full Day visit at Soka High School, including a 1.5 hr performance at their hall
1 Full Day visit at Soka University, Min-on Association(Sg National Art Council equvalent) and Fuji Art Museum
The rest of the time are for sight seing and whatever you want!!! (Everyone please help to think of places you would like to go so that the agency can plan. We have to let the agency know so that they can give a full quotation!)

Responses needed:

We need to know how many Alumni members are interested to go Japan. Reason being, we have to give JAL the numbers so they can put reservations. (June is a holiday period)

Indicating your interest does NOT mean absolute committment because we understand that matters may crop up or you might have other committments come june.

Mr Lum needs to know who are helping out in order to plan the repertoire and with a larger group, we can get a better price fom the agency too.

JAL has also indicated that it would be easier to cancel reservations than add more come june so in case you cant make it after expressing interest, its ok. but it will be more difficult to do vice versa.

Type of Alumni Involvement:

Performing with the orchestra. No matter what instrument you play, just let us know if you are interested. Mr Lum will plan the songs based on the strength of each section.

Stage managers/Stage Crew (For both Local and Japan Concert)

Filming/Photography Crew Alumni is planning to do filming for both concerts. It is always better for CO pple to film as we know the arrangements better. On top of that, we are also planning to do a documentary of the full journey. Those who are interested in doing filming and working with media production can let Ming Hui know, he will be heading the media team for now.

Special Note:

For Alumni members, all involvement with this year's events are purely based on everyone's own willingness and passion to help NJCO.

As much as we would like more to be involved and enjoy the experience together, we respect everyone's decisions and we sincerely hope that by indicating your interest, you are willing to put in a little committment. *We are trying to get some subsidy for Alumni like what the students get, so its only fair la.

Most pieces played in Japan will be the same as the local concert and we wont have much time to practise in Japan, so i believe those who wanna perform in Japan would preferrably be able to play some part in the local concert, either during practises or the actual concert.

So hopefully everyone has a better idea of what is going on in 2006 now. The important thing is that we need responses asap.(latest by AGM date) I know many pple are thinking about the costs, but as much as we hope for a good price, we should also know that going to Japan isnt gonna be cheap so i would recmommend being prepared to spend abit this year (start saving!!)

Happy New Year Everyone! Yep.. All the discs are finally ready! We apologise for the long long wait, cuz it takes some time to produce all these discs. Anyway... for the Aurora, we have it in DVD format and Music CD format. DVD format mainly becuz VCD quality is quite poor and Music Cd Format for those who wants to listen to the songs without the pictures.

We are also including the NJCO History Video 'From Past To Present' the video shown during qing4 gong1 yan4 this year. The video has been touched up nicer and newer photos (esp aurora 6 photos) have been added. So please let us know your order soon so that we can start burning the discs for you... Hope you all will like our productions :)

Prices:
The price for the Concert DVD + History Video is $5... The music CD will be just another $1. All these prices are mainly to cover costs of the discs and the filming.

The discs will be collected during Alumni AGM cum gathering in January 2006 which all fresh grads are invited(more on that on a later date) For those who cannot make it then, we will make other arrangements to pass or mail you the discs. If you want any special arrangement for the kind of discs you want or any other thing, please feel free to let Ming Hui know too :)

*Just a small disclaimer, we have tried our best to get the best quality for each discs but please forgive us for any imperfections as live recordings are usually subjected to environmental influences and other technical difficulties on the spot. We will strive to improve next year, thank you very much for your understanding.

Yoz.. Yoz.. Remember our Sentosa Chalet?!

heyhey i know everyone's waiting for an update of the njcoaa chalet(hopefully)... ok here it goes...

the day started off with the sun, sand and sea... actually there wasn't much sun... mostly dark clouds, a little wasted..

but anyway, we played captain's ball...u must be thinking aww...not again...but we had a great time playing n i suppose that's most impt... everplayed mobile catcher? where everyone runs freely until someone runs in to be the catcher when the ball comes... haha but with yanzhen stoning while yanrong n jasmine laughing till they drop dead on the sand, there were many times where there wasnt any catcher and shouts for 'throw and catch it yourself' keeps sounding out... haha..it was just a warm up and we already cmi...haha

next was the sea!!! we really wanted to get into the water...but haiz...thunder came....rain came( not the korean rain la..hopefully u realised that)... no lightning... but still we had to run for shelter...so the few of us, cailing, yanzhen, jas and boss(minghui) waited in the shelter for the rain to stop n also for yanrong, genna, sharon n shaopin to buy some food for us...

oh special mention! you gotta see shaopin when she ties her hair into 2 ponytails.. 90% sharon ou jin xian lookalike.. really!

anyway.. we waited n waited n waited till the rain stopped!! so after filling our hungry stomachs, we headed for the sea... only boss walked into the water volunteeringly...we had to pull n push n persuade the girls to get into the waters...hehehe.. at one pt jasmine tried to pull sharon into the water, just as she was giving up, yanzhen helped from behind, hehe, only to see herself being sabo-ed by boss as he started pulling all 3 of them into the water...

then it was story time in the cold water.. all the gossips all the way from 2002 to 2005 uncovered although older stories sound abit foreign to yanrong and genna.

it was almost 5.30pm before everyone decided to leave the sea finally to get ready for bbq.. Jasmine is really an expert with setting up bbq fire, took less than 20 mins to get everything set while a poor guy who started setting his fire at the same time on another pit near us, was still figuring out why he was setting up fire like he was in suvivor(with his female frens looking on... stressed!!)

the bbq was great really.. we had alot of food, pork fillet, satay, stingray, prawns, hotdog, sweet potato, sweet corn, honey ham, banana + melted chocolate (cailing's home receipe)... bla bla.. cant even remember all the food we had already. And we h

ad a bunch of hungry pple to go along with the food. From the oldest.. Mr Tek & Mr Wong, to the youngest.. Michelle from suona...

Gotta mention one thing.. for a great deal of time, the suona gang(lynette, michelle, sihui) were doing the bbq-ing.. when asked why are they doing all the work? Suona family together... "Cuz we suona pple can blow mah... " (woooo... cold wind blows....) haha

Soon after, after everyone started getting comfortable and food streaming in bit by bit.. we started our long awaited games. Our games com 'head' Xiuwen started with the 93.3 'listen first 5 secs, guess song title' game... wow.. you gotta really try this game before knowing how much you 'eh eh.. i know this song..' but never seem to remember what song title or singer it is. oh and just to mention.. boss was forced to do the chicken little dance.. although a very cmi wan... hehe

each of us took turns to bbq... probably becuz we didnt whack too many food at once, the timing of the food and games was just right. eventually, those who couldnt stay for the nite left for the last bus back to main land while the rest of us stayed around to enjoy the night. those we were left started to play the game polar bear... for those who dunno how this game is played.. it's a game abt talking and guessing who is the murderer kind of game.. basically a game of talking crap and acting poker face.. haha.. poor boss, killed off every 1st round of each game cuz he likes to talk too much.. :(

it was almost midnight already before we finally adjourned to our room. it was pretty big actually, at least big enough to hold the 8 of us. once back in the room..? gamble la!! haha.. a habit that all of us claim was cultivated back in njc. out came out mini mahjong tiles.. but we had to find a surface to put our tiles rite? haha.. we looked everywhere in the room and finally dismantled a board from the wardrobe to act as our surface.. (how desperate we are to gamble man) we split ourselves into 4 grps.. sharon and yanzhen(team name:自摸) weiming and shaopin(你摸) boss and joan( 被摸) cailing and

jasmine(Tampines Mall) haha.. to add some fun we played 10cents per after about 2 hrs plus of mahjong? the score stands at boss and joan never won a single game... but a phrase to console themselves...'赌场失意,情场得意'

we couldnt tahan anymore mahjong and finally put it aside.. jasmine and cailing were already drifting into dreamland.. while yanzhen was showing her amazing sleeping stance of curling up at one corner of the bed with her hand cupping her right cheek in a very cool manner.. haha... shuai4... the rest of us sat around talking... well.. we talked about the past stories of njco.. love lives.. happenings... past memories... haha.. (joan was listening so attentively to the love related stories.. dunno why...) haha anyway.. it is during such an atmosph

ere where you really let your hearts out.. sharing experiences and laughters with others, listening to what others went thru either during their time in co or just other aspects of their life.

haha.. but 'beware' when you talk about secretive stuff infront of a sleeping jasmine or cailing.. somehow they can hear during their sleep.. even better still, cailing can even laugh along with us while she slept away... haha.. other than that scary bit.. the rest of us chatted thru the nite.. probably till the sun rose.. the last time check before we all collapse was sth like 6am..

it wasnt long before daylight shone thru.. and we finally had to 'wake up'(mostly for cailing, jasmine, joan and yanzhen) who were really sleeping... washed up.. ate some cup noodles.. packed up the place.. (the dismantled board + separated mattress) and left our chalet room. haha.. we checked out at the counter and left hurriedly(cuz we didnt put back the board properly.. oops.. no strength liao la..)

i think most of us were like walking zombies.. more specifically sharon and boss.. crawled our way back to harbourfront.. ate our lunch... and finally parted ways.. sharon and boss were dying to get back to sleep while our dear joan, jas and cailing still went off shopping.. power..... stamina...

haha.. an ending note abt the chalet.. although it was technically only a day and nite... i feel really happy to be able to have such an outing for the family of co frens to gather once in a while to have fun.. chat about what each other have been doing.. it doesnt matter whether each of us know each other at first or not, becuz eventually we are all from the same family.. old or young, past or present, guy or gal(although not too many guys la..)

lastly, we hope everyone who came.. juniors or old seniors.. or even 'older' frens.. had a good time.. paiseh if some of the jokes from our boss weren't funny.. hope to meet you all soon in our AGM in Jan.. :)

Alumni Chalet at Sentosa - Costa Sands Resort !!

Yoz! Alumni will be having our year end outing at Sentosa on the 20th of Dec, Tuesday. All Alumni members and seniors, old and new are invited. All our new graduates are invited, including those who didnt sign up with us. Get your gang of friends and just come along for a day in the sun and a bbq in the evening.

For those who wanna join us for afternoon beach games, please meet at harbour front BUS INTERCHANGE(sentosa shuttle bus stop) at 12 noon. Ming hui and the rest of Alumni exco will be around.

For those who only wanna join us for BBQ, please make your way to Sentosa Costa Sand Chalet by 6pm. Full details (with pictures) on how to get to the location are listed below.

Some of us are staying overnight at the chalet, anyone is welcomed to stay over with us, but please let us know before hand.

All who are coming in the afternoon, you might wanna bring an extra set of clothes and come with beach wear cuz we will be in the sun and sea. Also, everyone coming please prepare $5 for the expenses and bqq food.

Alumni members who have signed up with us will be contacted by phone but anyone else who wanna come can post a msg on the tagboard, putting your name, telling us if u are coming for afternoon or evening. Alternatively, you can call or sms Ming Hui(Alumni Director) at 96527670.
